Cubs is for kids that are 8-10 years old. At cubs you do different fun games and activities, including making cards, cooking, toys and indoor games. Last year we did spy camp in Youlbury, Oxford and we did loads of cool outdoor activities including making fires, obstacle courses, and for one boy called Tom, eating a lot of baked beans! We made a wasp trap out of a jam jar with sticky jam in with a hole in the top so the wasps flew in and got stuck. Everyone brought a big cake and at campfires we ate them with hot chocolate. I joined Cubs when I was 9, and I was a bit nervous when I joined. I didn’t think that I would make friends or that it would be much fun. But, the during first week, I had took part in a swimming gala, and our team one. I made lots of friends very quickly. The most fun thing I did in Cubs was cooking cool things like, donuts and popcorn.

When you reach 10 ½, you move up to Scouts with your mates. I can’t wait to do lots more exciting things.
