LOCOMOTIVES |

Locomotive no. 1, a Roundhouse ‘Lady Anne’ class 0-6-0 in unlined black livery - which is everything I was led to believe she would be. |

A most unexpected addition, six months later, loco no. 2 is a Roundhouse ‘Russell’, which has brought a whole new dimension to the operation of the line. |
An even more unexpected addition, in July 2007, was loco no. 3. My wife presented me with Roundhouse ‘Linda’, for our tenth wedding anniversary. A water gauge and boiler fill facility have enhanced operation further, though the extra demands that this brings were a little taxing to begin with. Linda is seen here approaching QFR with a goods train not long after her arrival. As with all loco’s she now has glazed spectacle plates, wooden footplate floor and other added details. |
