What is Paid-to-Surf ? (PTS)

We all take TV commercials for granted... now you can get paid for every minute you spend surfing the web! All you have to do is join one of the growing number of companies who display small advertising banners on your screen while you surf. The banners are unintrusive, and display information on offers and companies tailored for your personal interests. The 'banners'  can be disabled or hidden at anytime if you want.

All the schemes listed here are free to join, each has it own benefits, some pay out in local currency (££££) some only in USdollars. If you live in England (or the rest of the UK, USA and Europe for that matter) then there is a scheme you can join and start earning straight away.

Payment is normally by checks posted to you, some of the programs will also pay direct into you bank account (optional)

You earn credit for each minute you spend on line, a check is sent to you each month if you have earned enough points, otherwise credit rolls over to the next month.

I have been a member of some of these schemes for 9 months now, during this time I have seen which are good and which are NOT so good!. Some of the better quality UK available PTS schemes are listed below (with an appropriate rating).

You're not going to make a fortune overnight, if you don't get any referral you will probably only able to offset the cost of your ISP or your dial up connection costs. Anything more is cash in your pocket.

(credit depends on the number of banners that are displayed - a reduced size version of the banner viewer can be seen below - Currently pays in dollars) connection and software is stable.

GoToWorld.co.uk (Worst Program*)
Credit depends on the length of time spend with the banner viewer running. They also have a get paid messaging service and other user benefits. (There are versions for various countries including the UK - but they still seem to be paying only in US$, some people have had bad experiences - be warned(!). Software is best described as 'ropey'...RIP OFF springs to mind; that said, you'll never loose money... just some of your time!)

PaysU.com (Best Program*)
£0.30 per hour (pays in UK£) also get paid for searching and shopping and while using the 'Pay station' off-line (planned). 'Pay station' is now available to start earning straight away! Quote HCU9505D. Their servers seem a but unreliable Sometimes. You get paid whatever you are doing while connected to the internet so long as you are using your computer. Currently it seems you cannot earn while off-line, I recently got a £51 check.... (so I can confirm they are paying!)

Cash box is working well. Connectivity to the site for banners and stats seems very good. My only gripe is that you have to sign on each time you open the cash box. it is hard to work out how much you have earned.....

Version 3 of their software is now available - and it is much(!) better than the previous versions... reliability of their servers still seems to be an issue....

A UK Program that will pay 25p per hour when it starts. Banner Viewer will be ready in (Quote) "a few months" (!). Nice looking site - but you shouldn't judge a book by its cover... (FYI the banner was supposed to be ready in a few months several months ago... june last year!)
