Directions
From Gosforth and north:
From Gosforth crossroads on the A595, take the Seascale road. On entering the village continue along the main road past the Post Office on the right, and immediately past the Library and Health Centre, turn right into a farm track. St. Joseph’s has a small car park on the right
From Holmrook and south:
Take the winding Seascale road through Drigg. Continue along the "main" road over the first railway bridge, down the hill towards the village car park on the sea front, under the second railway bridge (CAUTION - narrow road with very sharp left turn - look out for oncoming vehicles in the mirror), up the hill and bear right. St. Cuthbert’s (Anglican) church is on a rise to the left, the Methodist church is directly on the roadside with a prominent wheelchair ramp, St. Joseph’s is on the farm track immediately past a shop and former car showroom.
Alternatively, drive north to the Gosforth crossroads and follow the above route.
From Gosforth the distance is about 3 miles, from Holmrook directly about 4.
