Some Frequently Asked Questions:
Question: Is SESL really free to play? What
is the catch?
Answer: Yes, you do NOT need to pay to play in
SESL. Thanks to the hard work and generousity of software
creator Allan Sellers who has provided the "MSWL Olmec" software
free of charge to allow 48 managers to enjoy free game-play with
SESL.
Question: What is with all these abbreviations - SL, EL, OFF, DEF, GP?
Answer: SL = Skill Level. EL = Energy Level.
OFF = Offense calculation shown in match commentaries. DEF =
Defense calculation shown in match commentaries. GP = Goal
Protection.
Question: Does my TP/CP and bank totals carry
forward each season?
Answer: Yes, there is no need to use all your resources in any
given season so spare CP or TP will carry forward.
Question: OK, I like what I see on web page www.sesl.net
and want to join. What do I do?
Answer: Best bet is to download the rules first. Don't
try and understand them straight away as there are over 30 pages of
information there! Instead, skim over the rules and get a
flavour of what SESL is all about. Then email the SESL league commissioner asking
to be placed on the waiting list.
Question: I've been allocated a free team - how the heck do I submit a
line-up for SESL?
Answer: Use the ON-LINE LINEUP BUILDER - linked directly
into the SESL database, managers can now create their lineup orders using
drop down menu's to select their players and tactics.
Its updated every Saturday after games are ran, so give Online LINEUP
BUILDER a try today!
