Clie World Magazine 05/04/2002 The Clie World Magazine is still taking shape (slowly) and I could do with some help!!!! One of the biggest Palm software companies has offered me some free registration codes if reviews can be done of their software. If you would like to contribute reviews, articles, your views or in any other way to the magazine please let me know.

04/04/2002 This is not a new application but it looks fantastic, especially if you are into astronomy. It called Planetarium 2.2 and is described as an application for the beginning star gazer as well as for the professional astronomer. They use it to find or identify objects in a clear night-time sky. It calculates the position of the sun, the moon, the planets, up to 9000 stars, hundreds of deep sky objects, comets and asteroids for any time and any geographical position and draws sky maps of any section of the sky. more details

03/04/2002 Silver Screen 2.6 has been released- guess what? It finally has hi-res support!!! Details here.

03/04/2002 Welded Warriors has been released- "Travel to over 20 different worlds to challenge the supreme master of the welded warriors championship. Buy robots, equip them with armor and weapons. Talk and practice with the locals see if you are up for the challenge!" More details at Crimson Fire. I haven't tried it yet but look at those graphics!

03/04/2002 TinySheet has been updated to version 4.1 and now has the following new key features- "Added VFS support / Handles Sony NR40V improved high resolution support (320x480) / Added TS4 programmer API "UserAction" command (to continue batch process on user exit). Details at Iambic.

03/04/2002 The SmartPad 2 is now available from Seiko for $199.99. Hopefully it will be available in the UK soon as it supports the Clie and most other PDA's with this version. More information at Seikosmart.com.

03/04/2002 You can now download Rotomino's Box from Gameloft- "Your goal is to clear all the balls from the screen. You control a launcher with grabbing and launching capabilities. To make balls disappear, you must grab balls and launch them near identical balls. If two balls of the same color come together, they explode. You can use the wall's gravity to create combinations." Looks like fun.

01/04/2002 af.com will be releasing a 'RedGum' memory stick in the first half of April for $69.99. It has the ability to connect to any standard infra-red device within 5 metres. 01/04/2002 Received an email from 79bmedia who have announced the release of Connection Manager v2.3- if you are in the UK you will now be able to use your GPRS or HSCSD enabled mobile in the UK for standard speed Internet access with your Palm/Clie.
