17/04/2002 Bejeweled (probably the best selling Palm game) has been updated- extra graphic enhancements, a few minor fixes and support for the Palm m125, m130, m515, Handspring Treo 180, Sony Clie T415, T615, NR70V, etc. more details

17/04/2002 Please excuse the iPaq picture (funny how it takes up so much space!). Available now is the iPocket Bungee which is a cord which attaches to the tiny loops seen in various pieces of mobile equipment. Anyone know if this one is small enough for the Clies or where this type of cord is available in the UK?

16/04/2002 Purchased a SonyEricsson T68 today for voice calls and connection to my Clie- works nicely with the Clie, has Bluetooth and a quite brilliant screen- if you go totally mad you could buy the Bluetooth memory stick and have internet and email anywhere. more details

16/04/2002 Thanks to Steffen Drabek for sending in details of the N series GPS module which is now out in Japan. It can be delivered by Brando but only comes with a Japanese driver- hopefully an English version will be here soon (not holding my breath though). more details

16/04/2002 LR std v1.1 has been released- A clone of classic game Lode Runner. Features: - edit mode - 5 speed levels - 10 Pixel. It's very difficult but good fun! more details

15/04/2002 The new SmartPad 2 has started appearing in UK stores- I saw it in PC World and Staples yesterday for £129.99 and it will work with most (if not all) Clies. more details

15/04/2002 Seiko has also released the InkLink. It can clip almost anywhere and will analyse your handwriting and send it to your Palm device, Pocket PC or Laptop (it's true!) more details

14/04/2002 One of my favourite games, Text Twist, has been updated to version 1.1- updates include added support for new machines (m125, m130, m515, Treo 180, Clie T415, T615, NR70/V), support for entering letters via an external or built-in keyboard!, updated graphics routines - speed increases under some circumstances and updated disctionary to match the new GameHouse word set. more details

Be Careful! 13/04/2002 Myself and Joel Suplido have both had to do 'hard resets' after trying to use the latest version of Backdrop GC on our machines- I have contacted the developer to advise them.

12/04/2002 iambic have been busy! They have also released TinySheet 4.12 and iambic Mail 2.11. Improvements include enhanced compatibility with iambic Office Hub and improved 320x480 resolution functionality (Sony Clie NR70 series). It’s good to see a company producing software enhanced for the NR70 already- I would do a review of these new features but iambic would need to supply me with an NR70 to do so! more details

12/04/2002 Received an email from Tim Moore who runs a service in the UK to replace broken screens on Palms, Handsprings and Clie's. "Palmscreenrepair.com is a UK company. We hold screens in stock. Repairing and returning the PDA on the day of receipt. This means we normally achieve a three day turnaround. IE the customer post their PDA on Tuesday, we repair and despatch on Wednesday." more details
