31/01/2002 Just found this game at The Japanese Clie Users Club- it's called Da Da Golf and it looks like it's very near to completion (definately lo-res at the moment though) |
31/01/2002 Also at the Japanese Clie Users Club are DaDa American Football and DaDa WW2. I have checked DaDa's site and all mention of future games has been removed from the English side- the Japanese side has Football and WW2 listed with Deluxe Mahjong as part of a CD-Rom Palm Games Series. Let's hope we get to see these games soon. |
31/01/2002 Welded Warriors is a new game that should be released in the first quarter of 2002 by Crimson Fire and Galactic Realms- I'm trying to find out if there will be a hi-res version but the screenshots above speak for themselves- looks stunning! |

30/01/2002 Recieved the following from Bob via email: If you're interested in web prices Comet.co.uk has the clie 770C for £317.24 inc delivery. Amazon.co.uk have it for £299 + delivery but limited availability. I bought my 770C/U 2 weeks before xmas from a Sony centre who matched (there abouts) the amazon.co.uk price. I believe I paid an extra £10 but worth it to be able to walk into a shop if it all goes wrong. |

29/01/2002 Handmark have just released their Palm OS version of the classic Monopoly. Just one improvement needed- a hi-res version is a 'must' for a board game needing so much detail on a small screen- the reviews on PalmGear suggest this one is a winner. |

27/01/2002 If you are in the UK and manage to find some accessories for your Clie please let me know by clicking the envelope (top right). It would also be useful if you could send me the best UK prices you have seen for the Clies and accessories- for example the lowest I have seen for an N770CU is £349.99 inc VAT and £92.00 inc VAT for a 128mb blue Memory Stick- if you have seen better let me know and I will post the details here. It's amazing how much us Brits have to pay compared to the USA!! |

22/01/2002 (quote from email received today) In early december a senior exec from Sony's Clié group was in the UK, and was pretty unimpressed, by the accesories available here, expect to see some major movement on this front in the next few months, on a similar note i'm told the new T6** series will be arriving on these shores in March. Also for those looking for cases closer to home ProCom have had a shipment of the new Chameleon leather cases for the 770 (I bought the 'alligator' Skin version today and its pretty sweet for £30)- I got my case from the store on Tottenham Court Road, London (Tel.020 7637-5777) |
