![]() 11/05/2002 Thanks to Katia Shabanova from iambic for sending me the following message from iambic president, Vidal: "I would like to offer an apology for offending people by registering datebk4.com and datebk5.com. This practice was not in keeping with our standards, and we are currently reviewing our marketing methods. We can not estimate how long it will take for the register.com to unregister the domains but we started the process of relinquishing ownership of the two domains on May 9, 2002. iambic is looking forward to getting back to the business of making excellent software and regaining the customer satisfaction we've enjoyed for nearly a decade." The words 'better late than never' spring to mind but I think it may be time to let iambic's actions in the future decide how they are to be judged. What I don't agree with is the actions of some people who have added reviews to PalmGear slating the Action Names product when they have given it fantastic reviews in the past- stick with slating the company if they have done wrong (the product is still pretty good). It will take time for many of us to forgive iambic (myself included) but let's wait and see what the future holds. |

SORT IT OUT!!! ![]() 08/05/2002 You may seen some of the complaints on the various PDA discussion sites- PDABuzz, Clie Source etc. concerning the fact that if you click www.datebk4.com or www.datebk5.com you will be redirected to iambic's Action Names software page. Many people believe this behaviour to be unethical and if you want to have your say please visit the Clie World Forum and leave your email address.
