STRAYING PERSONS
In Genealogical terms, STRAYS are people of both sexes
who may have moved from their place of birth due to various reasons, such
as marriage, work or inheritance purposes, to name just a few.
There are hundreds of thousands of people who were found in other Counties
when the Census were taken, and hence are called STRAYS.
Some Family History Society Members and Individuals have
voluntarily indexed STRAYS they have found in their own County.
