Minutes of meeting held at R.M.A. Deal on Wednesday 1st December 1999 PRESENT:- A.Yates, Chairman. J.Barrett, President. J.Rogers, Secretary. J.Padmore, Treasurer. D.Simpson, V.Chairman .J.Gardner D.A.C 1919. APOLOGIES:- S.Brittain. A.Hills. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING:- Read and agreed as a true record. Pro. J.Barrett Sec. J.Gardner. MATTERS ARISING:- 1) N.F.S.A. Friday night Rover was not successful as it clashed with a 3 day festival at Dover. 2) Fishing at Dungeness. Through discussions with RMCP, Dungeness Estate and the Enviroment Agency parking will be allowed on the lighthouse road down by the bulldozers on competition days with certain conditions. The existing key on the barrier is E.A.property so one lock / key for a selected few is out. The solution is to have two padlocks on the barrier. One for the EA works and one which will be swapped on a Friday afternoon by EA prior to a fishing competition. That padlock will have three key holders one EA, one Mr Tapp (a local resident) and one for the N.F.S.A. ( Tony Hills)COMPETITION DATES will be passed via the N.F.S.A. to EA at least ONE MONTH in advance so that arrangements can be made to swap padlocks. Vehicles will park sensibly along the kerb of the road which runs north-south from the bulldozers to the lighthouse. No vehicles will park on the beach or drive on the shingle. All competitions must be on weekends. New rubbish bins are being provided. They are planned for the layby between the New Lighthouse and the Brittania pub and a wheelie bin on the corner between the power station compound and the back road. Would all anglers please make sure that their rubbish is put in the bins and NOT left on the beach.
