Minutes of Meeting held at The Lord Nelson, Broadstairs on Thursday 20th July 2000.

PRESENT:-

MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING:-

Read and Agreed as a true record. Pro. A.Chandler. Sec. N.Clarke.

MATTERS ARISING:-

Kent Pairs Knockout. A letter of appeal has been received concerning the disqualification of S.Page, N.Scott. The letter was read to the delegates and a discussion was held. N.Clarke proposed that 2 weeks be given so that the teams may agree on a date, and the round fished and the result be given to the Secretary no later than August 3rd. A vote was taken and the proposal carried.
The Secretary was also notified that Folkestone have withdrawn from the Pairs Knockout.

PRESIDENTS REPORT:-

Mr John Bennett Blowes (President of Folkestone & all England) has passed away.
At the recent Standing Committee meeting the question was raised concerning the Specimen Size limits still in imperial weights when all other weights are in metric.
A question was also asked about what the N.F.S.A. insurance actually covered after a recent dispute with a local club.
Mr. Barrett went to a seminar on behalf of the Division concerning Lottery grants if anyone is interested please contact Mr. J.D.Barrett for more information.
Mr. M. North will probably attending the N.F.S.A. Junior Shore Festival on September 23rd 2000 at Deal.

Mr Padmore suggested that the Division opened a Website so that the minutes and any other Divisional information may reach a lot more Anglers that at present. J.Rogers proposed that Mr Padmore sets up a Web Site as soon as possible. Sec. J.Gardner.

The fixtures meeting has been provisionally arranged for Monday October 9th would all Club Secretary's please forward their Dates as soon as possible to the Secretary J.Rogers.
