MINUTES
OF PREVIOUS MEETING:-
Read and agreed as a true record.

MATTERS ARISING:-
Chris Clark is up and about.
A cheque for the balance of entry money taken for the 5 man league
to be sent to the team who came in 3rd position.
Bag labels to be ordered.
The `No
Fishing` on Dover beach still to be advised on.
Fishing on the Admiralty is not at present allowed between the Gun
Turret and the Light house when the Cruise Liners are in dock. Dover
S.A.A. are monitoring the situation.
Dover S.A.A. are applying to the small claims Lottery Fund for possible
sponsorship for the upkeep of the Breakwater.
PRESIDENTS
REPORT:-
A letter from a non affiliated club was received at the last Standing
Committee meeting concerning A.Libby, the matter was discussed but
no action was taken.

REPORT:-
Nothing to report.
SECRETARYS
REPORT:-
1) Letter from M.North concerning Individual Membership being sent
to all affiliated clubs.
2) Poster for Charity Open Beach Festival 7th October 2001 at Bournemouth

3) Poster for Torbay Sea Angling Festival 31st August - 9th September

LEAGUE
SECRETARYS REPORT:-
Steve Allmark qualified for Guernsey.
5 man
winter league to be decided on the day whether it will be continued
or not according to how many teams enter.Letters to go out to see
if Sponsorship can be obtained.

Birchington B v Fountain A
Kent Police v Birchington C
To be fished by September 3rd.
European
and all England.
There is a lot of interest among anglers to see if a committee can
be formed to run the competition a meeting is to be held on 17th October
2001 at 8pm at the A.V.S. Club , Folkestone. Anyone interested are
welcome to attend.
