Minutes
of Meeting held at Royal Marines Association Club on 30th April 2003
Present:-

Matters Arising:
Kent Pairs Knock Out draws to take place at the end of May.
Charity match: The turnout was very poor due to clashes with other
matches and with the Go Fishing Exhibition at the NEC. Despite the
turnout £93 was still raised for Charity. A decision is to be
made at the next meeting on whether to hold a match next year and
if so whether to change the time of year and the venue. If any one
has any ideas please forward them to the secretary either by phone

President's
Report:
The president has asked Dave Andrews if he would be the auditor for
the division and he has agreed, a letter is to be sent to him asking
him formally.
Chairman's
Report:
The chairman, on behalf of the committee, would like to congratulate
the Junior England Squads for
their success in the recent World Shore Championships held at Bridlington.
The gavel and hammer and the Seal of Office has now been received
from the previous Chairman and A. Yates name to be added to the Seal
of Office.
Secretary's
Report:
The Division has received a letter from Mike North, Chairman of the
N.F.S.A. stating that due to health and personal reasons that he has
retired from office. A new chairman will be elected at the forthcoming
AGM.
The secretary has received 500 new Bag Labels that were requested
by the Division at a cost of £15.

A.O.B.:
The charges on Deal Pier have been increased and the renovations have
started with sections of the pier closed to anglers. The renovations
are expected to take 12 - 18 months to complete.
In
order to save postage for the Division and if club secretary has an
email account and does not mind receiving their Divisional Minutes
