Minutes of Meeting held at RMA on 15th September 2003

Present:

Presidents Report:
The president commented on the matter of no communication from Head Office.
Deal and Walmer Angling Club are celebrating their Centenary year in 2004 but did not want to combine their celebrations with the N.F.S.A.'s centenary celebrations.

Chairman's Report:
The chairman commented on dwindling numbers within clubs and at matches, it seems the problem seems to be the norm around the country.
It was reported to the chairman that the locks on the barrier at Dungeness are being cut off.
An attempt is being made to move the gate to the end of the road so that angles will be able to park along the road by the Power station.
Phil Tapp of Dungeness Angling association has been receiving intimidating telephone calls at all hours of the day and night.

Secretary's Report:
The Army has invited a delegate to attend a function at the Duke of York's School, Dover. John Barrett has agreed to attend.
The secretary now has Tide Tables for 2004 and 2005 if anyone wishes to receive a copy please contact J.Rogers.
Please can all clubs let the Secretary have the dates for their open fixtures for 2004 please or attend the next divisional meeting on 21st October where all club dates will be collated. Thank you

League Secretary's Report:
The quarterfinal draw for the Kent Pairs Knock Out was made.

These matches to be fished if possible by 21st October 2003.

A.O.B.:
An invite was received by the N.F.S.A from Korea to send a team of 3 to fish in a match with countries from all over the World. J.Barrett has carved a wooden trophy to give to the hosts.

It was suggested that the N.F.S.A. move the Annual Charity match to September to see if attracted more entries.

Centenary celebrations will be held on July 24th 2004 with a maximum of 50 families attending.
P&O and Euro tunnel to be approached regarding sponsorship.
