Minutes of Meeting held at the RMA Deal on 11th October 2004

Present:
J.Barrett, President. J. Gardner, Chairman. P.Godden, Vice Chairman. M.Godden, Assistant league sec. R.Page, W.D.A.S. T.Hills, V.B.C/ D.A.A. R.Kennett, P.Heath, DAC 1919. M.Sullivan, P.Sullivan, Seabrook S.A.C. M.Hurcombe,Deal Minnows.

Minutes of last meeting:
Read and agreed as a true record. Pro. M.Godden, Sec. R.Page

Matters Arising:
J.Barrett has not received confirmation that Louie Smith has received his award for becoming NFSA Junior of the Year.

President's Report:
The President received a letter from DAC 1919 relating to 2 of its members who had been accused of serious misconduct and had been banned from the club. The President forwarded the letter to head office and also had a meeting with the president and chairman of DAC 1919.
The letter was available to read at the meeting.
Mick Sullivan thought it was disgusting that the letter was sent to the standing committee delegates before the accused were convicted of anything.
Tony Hills seconded that.
Pat Heath defended their decision and said the matter was in the hands of the CPS.

The president congratulated Steve Allmark on his double Gold at the recent World Championships.
The president also attended the 100th Anniversary of Heron Angling Society and would like to congratulate them on the wonderful turnout.
Standing Committee report:
None

Chairman's Report:

The Chairman would like to congratulate both the England Men's and Ladies shore teams for winning Gold medals.

Secretary's report:
Letter received from Head office regarding a membership drive in the South East area.
NFSA funding was discussed.
Tony Hills proposed that J.Barrett should discuss at the next Standing Committee meeting the location of Head Office and suggested that it be moved to a more central position.
League Secretary's report:
The next round of the Kent Pairs knockout is to be fished within 4 weeks.

A.O.B.:
Tony Hills proposed, Mick Sullivan seconded, that a letter be sent to DAC 1919 deploring their decision to name the members that had been banned.
Vote. 5 for 2 against
Vice Chairman to write letter to DAC 1919.

Specimen Fish forms to be completed and forwarded to J.Barrett by no later than 10 January 2005.
