BIOGRAPHY
June 2002 Rovena began to have concerts and to
perform in all stages and discos of Diaspora.
Her first album “Bie debore” started to have
great success as the large number of concerts
showed. So, Italy Greece, Macedonia, Kosovo,
Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Sweden, Denmark,
Norway, Great Britain, Belgium etc have been
among the countries Rovena’s tours took place
and where songs like “Me ben magji” were widely
liked becoming great hits not only in Albania
but also in the Albanian Diaspora.
That is the time she became one of the most
famous and glorious singers. Records of discs
(album “Bie debore”) sold in Albania, Kosovo,
Macedonia, Serbia and Monte Negro, Diaspora
outnumbered greatest sells of the trade at that
time.
In the meantime press has sympathized and has
shown great interest toward her.
Very important newspapers in Albania and abroad
such as “Gazeta shqiptare”, “Tema”, “Shekulli’’,
“Korrieri”, ‘Ballkan”, “Bota sot”, “Fakti” , and
magazines like ‘Spekter”, “Klan”, “Kosovarja”, ‘Kult”,
“Bis”, “Estrada”, “Eurozeri”, “Jeta”, etc have
been given information about any activity she
has had.
She is the winner of the second price voted by
the public in the “Mikrofoni I arte” festival
October 2002 in Tirana where she sang “Dua te
jetoj”(I want to live) from “Bie debore” album.
At the same time preparations for the second
album had already started involving the
professional work of composers like Xhevdet
Gashi, Adrian Hila , Naim Krasnqi, Andi Dj,
Darko Dimitrov, Robert Bilbilov and writers like
Avni Qahili, Armand Trebicka etc.
At the beginning of June she took an invitation
to participate in the prestigious festival of
“Show Fest” in Prishtina. She wan the second
price singing “Ku je ti”(where are you).
June 8, 2003 she promoted a new video “Paraja”
in where she performed for an odience of
political, art and media celebrities. Critics
for this video valued working and organization
as very professional especially Rovena’ s
performance.
July 8th, 2003 Rovena published her second album
“Paraja”.
August 23, 2003 she represented Albania in the
festival of Ohrid singing “Ku je ti”, one of the
best songs of the compilation “Paraja”. She was
classified at the top ten.
More and more concerts and performances were
exhibited during 2003-2004.
On December 17th 2004 she participated in the
43thd edition of Festival of Radio and
Television of Albania where she sang “kthehem
prape” and again received great critics and
admiration.
After not more than three days, on 20th December
she and her manager Elisa, promoted the third
album called “Dasma”. They have been working
together for this album for about a year
collaborating with the best music studios of
Tirana and SkopiE. This time number of cd copies
outnumbered not only the records of the sells of
the trade but also those of her previous albums.
Among the best hits of “Dasma” are “Me kapele
karrocieri”, “ Embelsira” and the single with
the same title “Dasma”.
The tour for this season started since the
beginning of the year 2005 over the Europe.
Summer 2005, she launch her R&B song “Mos thuaj”
featuring Blero.
