About Bramblewood & Silversafari Bengals & Savannahs
Our
kittens are bred to have fabulous exotic spotted and rosetted pelted
coats which mimic their wild ancestors the Asian Leopard Cat (together
with other wild cats such as jaguars/leopards etc.) coupled with the
temperament and dependability of normal domestic cats. In 2008 we were
introduced to a new and very rare breed of domestic cats, the
Savannahs. Again these are
We are members of the International
Bengal Cat Society (TIBCS) and The International Cat Association (TICA), our prefixes (cattery names) of Bramblewood
and Silversafari are both TICA and GCCF registered. We also show our
cats regularly at TICA & occasionally GCCF shows. We have been very fortunate to have our cats and kittens featured in the press and on BBC National TV. Some years ago we were approached by the BBC as they were keen to feature a litter of Bengal kittens in a special feline edition of the long running Children's programme Blue Peter. Our daughter - then aged 6 appeared on the main show plus the live trailer with a litter of our kittens with their mum. All behaved impeccably! Our kittens are at least thirteen weeks old before leaving us and are TICA or GCCF registered, vaccinated and insured. We are conveniently situated close to excellent motorway links for the North & South of the UK. We can also arrange for kittens to be transported via air travel or courier (at cost) We are also pleased to offer kittens (for breeding) for export.

We began breeding and showing Pedigree
Cats in 1989 and have been working with Bengals since 1995. With
over 18 years experience breeding pedigree cats and 13 years working
with Bengals, Our
aim is to consistently produce the highest quality Bengal
kittens available. We
import and develop the very best lines from the USA and Europe to
compliment our breeding programme which
has produced numerous "Best Of Breed" and
"Best In Show" winners together with Champions, Grand
Champions and Multiple Grand Champions. We were the
first breeders to import and breed Silver Bengals in the UK.
derived originally from an outcross between a
domestic cat and a wild cat, in this case the African Serval. They are
very different in appearance to Bengals, but again the idea of
developing a domestic cat which resembles a wild cat is a very appealing
concept and we decided to become involved by setting up our own
small breeding programme for this exceptionally rare breed of cat
alongside our continuing work with Bengals. 
We are members of The Bengal Cat Club
Of Great Britain and are both privileged to have been elected to serve on the
BCCGB board since 2000. We design and

and Peter is the current elected club president. Chris is the cup secretary,
joint show manager and
also serves on the main board and show committee.
