Matthew Wright appeared on Leicester Sound from 1992-95, first appearing when Leicester Sound started sharing evening programmes with Mercia FM.
Matthew already had an established Saturday night dance show on Mercia, and Leicester Sound began taking this in January 1992.
He also covered on the Naughty Late Show when Mark Keen was on holiday, and his Saturday night show remained until Mercia and Leicester Sound were relaunched in early 1994, following the takeover by GWR.
Matthew was still heard on the weekday late show on both stations during 1994, and then left to take a managerial post with GWR group, at the same time producing dance mixes for the likes of Capital Radio, Galaxy and Key 103 in Manchester through his company "SOUNDS THE BUSINESS". He then moved to Nottingham to get Century Radio 106 off the ground.
He now works for a software company in Cambridgeshire
