Okay, you've thought your way through it all and now you're ready to see what kind of damage you can do. So, let's get going. Open the source document of this page and save it on a floppy disk or on your hard drive somewhere in which you can find it. Then get offline, but leave your browser open. Yes, you can do that; just close the connection, or click File and Work Offline, or hang up the 'phone. Just don't close your browser. Of course, if you've closed your browser, you can open it again.

Okay, now open the source document for this Webpage in your now offline browser. See what it looks like? Go back to the source document. Thinking back on what you've learned from Page Three, start experimenting. Delete BACKGROUND="" and change the BGCOLOR (don't worry about the colour code; the Internet will take colour names, too). Change the font colour. Change the type size. Do what ever strikes your fancy.

Do things wrong. Don't close open tags. Don't nest tags. Forget to close font sizes. Forget to use closing quote marks or arrows. See what happens. The purpose of this experiment is for you to get the feel for what you're doing. It will help you get ready for
