FROM THE EAST (e.g. Nottingham)

At the end of the A52, continue straight on at the roundabout - signed City Centre.
Then follow signs for the A6 - Matlock.
When you enter the one-way system, keep left following the signs for Quarndon and Allestree.
The University is three quarters of a mile, on the right.

FROM THE NORTH (e.g. Chesterfield)

From the M1 Junction 28 take the A38 South, signposted Derby.
Continue until you reach a major roundabout, continue along the A38, signed Matlock, Ashbourne, Uttoxeter (Outer Ring Road).
Proceed to the next roundabout, passing the University towers on your right - go all the way around the roundabout returning North on the A38. The first exit off is signposted University.
Turn left at the top of the slip road onto Kedleston Road, the entrance to the University is then on your right.

FROM THE SOUTH (e.g. Leicester)

From the M1 Junction 24 take the A50 signposted Stoke-on-Trent.
Leave A50 at Junction 4 and head North - A38, Derby.
The University will be clearly signed left off the A38, after the A52 roundabout.

FROM THE WEST (e.g. Birmingham)

Join A38 at Junction 4 of the A38.
The University will be clearly signed left off the A38, after the A52 roundabout.

There is an excellent bus service linking Derby City Centre with the Kedleston Road Main Campus.

The Trent / Barton service "The Allestree" leaves every few minutes during the day from Derby Bus Station Bay 12.  There is a bus stop just across the road from the main University entrance.

At the University, go straight up the main drive to the top of the hill.  Visitors' Car Parks are to be found on the right hand side.   There are no parking charges.

Park up and make your way to the Atrium (Main University Reception).  

Cash Machines are available here, as well as refreshments (vending machines only on a Saturday).  Members tend to meet in the Atrium before going into the nearby lecture room.

The SSAE Lecture Room will be clearly signed from Reception.
