One of the few things worth seeing in
Invercargill (you were correct, Framo!). A tuatara. I think it
was real - but their heart rate is something like 6 beats per
minute and they breath every couple of minutes - so there wasn't
much sign of life! |
||
| 6 photos taken on the flight up from Invercargill to Christchurch. The Southern Alps are in the distance on them all. These, I confess, have all been enhanced quite significantly by photoshop - so they are much clearer than the originals. | ||

Final photo of the Southern Alps and then my only photo of where I was for four weeks last time - Christchurch. This time just the airport with the Port Hills in the background. |
||
| Left photo - over the Marlborough Sounds. Right photo just reaching the North Island | ||
| Left photo - of the "Air New Zealand" 737 from Christchurch up to Auckland. I still imagine a load of Brits on their way to Malta and being told that they've had to re-route slightly! Right photo - of Auckland harbour, also known as the viaduct, at night. This was where all the boats involved with the Americas Cup berthed. | ||
| Final two photos - one of the 3.5 hours flying over Australia to Singapore and final one within a couple of hours of Singapore....the END! |
