First view of a bald eagle. I'd stopped to look at some
geysers at the side of the road and turned round to see this
bird about 100 yards away. |

This was a complete bonus - there were a number of ravens
flying around and when this bird flew over about 100 yards away
I took a snap thinking it might be a heron. It was only when
I zoomed in on the photo that I realised it was another bald
eagle. |
