Enjoyment of Club Members
Once a fortnight and most Sundays during the summer months, the club meets at the track for a day’s racing starting at approx. 09.30 until late afternoon.
We usually have 4 qualifying rounds followed by a 15 minute final for each class of car i.e.: 1/8, 1/10, electric mini stocks and formula. Races are calculated on a points based system, which are added up at the end of each year with trophies being awarded. For this, we hold a club presentation evening, which is a good evening out for the whole family.
Through the summer months, the club holds a series of national race meetings for different classes of car. These meetings can vary in length from 1 to 3 days (Bank holiday weekend) in duration with the number of people attending in the region of 80, plus family members. At the end of these meetings, trophies are always awarded.

All club members are registered with the B R C A (British Radio Car Association) and abide to their strict rules and conditions for insurance and health and safety purposes. Each member is supplied with a yearly handbook and quarterly supplement explaining all rules and conditions, plus a license to enable them to race at national meetings.
There is a happy and friendly atmosphere among club members, always willing to help each other out with tips and advice. Newcomers to the sport are welcomed by the club and given the best advise possible, especially when making the decision of what they should race.
