Quite
often you will find that transcription rates are set by the
hour or by the "per thousand" words. As each
typist works at a different speed and as most people do not
know exactly how many spoken words there are on a tape you
can't always get an accurate assessment.
At
Super Scripts we charge by the recorded minute which means
it is simple for you to work out exactly how much it is going
to cost by knowing the running time on each tape.
Basic
transcription, from either audio cassette or VHS, starts at
£1.00 per recorded minute. Therefore a 20 minute recording
will cost £20.00.
There
is no extra charge for emailing completed work or return of
tapes via standard 2nd class
mail.
