English Apples - Pictures
Click on the text to view the pictures. Each apple is shown actual size, as close as I can get it, in most cases. # denotes not in National Fruit Collection. I am gradually replacing the lower resolution pictures now that more people have broadband. Some of the apples appear more than once - top and bottom views, for example, or from sunny and shady locations - to aid identification. Two apples of the same variety can have surprisingly different appearances depending on the growing conditions.
