Potatoes - Epicure
Flower white with yellow centre. Haulms short, fairly thin. Little
trouble with blight; reliable cropper. Matures rapidly in pots.
Floury potato,knobbly shape, yield around 1.25- 1.5 lbs per pot, white
skin and flesh. Good boiled whole, good mashed. Very good flavour.
The most popular garden variety in Scotland. 1897; from Hampshire.
