Potatoes - Orla
Pleasant-looking white potato; first early. I was surprised by the blight resistance;
my container-grown plants survived a bad blight outbreak, albeit with constant
spraying of Bordeaux mixture,
which destroyed neighbouring Moulin Rouge and British Queen plants, and were still
growing pretty well after 15 weeks. I'd put the blight
resistance as slightly better than Golden Wonder - say 7. Comments on cooking quality
not yet available.
