| Saturday October 29th 1988 |
| From the top of the initial steep climb, there is a glorious view back down the Great Langdale valley. This particular day was perfect, with not a cloud in the sky and no heat haze to impair the view. I have this picture as a wallpaper on my PC at work, and spend many a happy hour just staring at it and wishing I was there. |
