What can I say? I arrived in heavy rain and left (early) in heavy rain. Apart from Wednesday, when the sun came out briefly as I decended from Hause Gate to Brandlehow, it rained continuously. I got out every day, but did nothing memorable except sheltering in a very nice sheepfold in Yewthwaite Combe.
As I've said before, I don't mind walking in the rain, and I shall never tire of Newlands, but really, enough is enough!
