New for 2006/7, the Commander turnout and under rug companion is far more than the sum of its parts. Building on Fal Pros famous layering system,
the Commander is a complete rugging system.

The outer comprises a 1680 denier 200gram waterproof and breathable rug with a zip off detachable neck.
By adding the dedicated under rug the Commander is transformed into an ultra warm 400gram turnout.
Flexibility is the keyword: this system provides a middle weight turnout, with or without a full neck, a heavy weight turnout, with or without a full neck and a middle weight stable.

The beauty of the system is that the outer and under rugs are quite separate and are designed to move independently of each other. Rugs that are attached to each other have a tendency to move in different directions, setting up stresses between the rugs.
