Why not join the Tangueros (and Tangueras) of Glasgow?
For many years Argentinean Tango was thriving in Glasgow, with many people coming from all around - even from as far afield as Edinburgh! Then for some reason as yet unknown, the interest in this form of dance ceased in Glasgow, and began to thrive in Edinburgh of all places.
Recently some dedicated tangueros have resurrected Tango in the West of Scotland and a new group has been formed.

Under a programme promoted by Glasgow City Council, Claire Flanagan is teaching the Argentinean Tango. Claire received her training in both Buenos Aires and the USA.
Claire's classes are held on Thursday evenings from 7.00 until 9.00 at the St Francis Centre, 405 Cumberland Street, Glasgow, G5 0SE. There is a charge of £1.00 per evening! - for which you get a lot of fun and a cup of tea/coffee!
