I have put this site together with the thoughts and ideas I have picked up over the years while performing and perfecting the skills of improvisational tap dancing. It is my own personal experience and the essence and thought behind my improvisational tap technique. There will no doubt be some who disagree with my approach, but we all have our own perspective on what we do relative to our own different and unique experiences.

I'm born and bred in the United Kingdom and I suppose that may give rise to certain misconceptions into what is and is not an art form solely derived from the USA. However, with all patriotic claims to the origins of tap set aside, I set out to enlighten and entertain those of you who want to see a tap dance web site with some tap clips and a few interesting thoughts on the subject of tap and improvisation. My apologies for the size of some clips, although I have split certain clips down to manageable sizes for those of you like my self whose phone time is money. I hope to pass on my experiences with tap and the concept of performance to you the reader, please enjoy.
