NEW FOR 2007 Farmhouse breakfasts using all local produce including our own free-range eggs, comfortable accommodation, a warm welcome and stunning views of the Northumbrian countryside will be our recipe for a relaxing stay for Bed and Breakfast at Kellah.

• The five “en-suite” bedrooms are in a newly refurbished self contained unit that used to be “The Pitman’s Arms” public house before it closed in the late 1900’s.
• Plenty of parking spaces next to the unit.
• Each room is furnished to a high standard in the character of a country farmhouse.
• The unit’s kitchen will serve “Farmhouse breakfasts”, including a vegetarian option in the double dining room, highchairs will be available.

• The large lounge with its “Black-range fireplaces”, TV, DVD and children’s games will be available for guests use at any time.
• Guests can relax outside on the stone flagged patio area.
• A laundry and boot drying room is available for our guest’s convenience, as we are in a fantastic walking area.
• A separate bathroom is available for anyone who prefers to soak in the bath after a long days walking. Water is heated by solar panels and provides plenty of hot water for baths and showers.
• Five en-suite bedrooms all centrally heating and furnished with;

Within the Bed and Breakfast accomodation we neither allow smoking nor pets, this is to ensure the comfort of all our guests, accomodation for pets can however be arranged in our Self Catering cottages.

Three cottages on a family sheep farm in Northumberland - Kellah Farm Cottage provides convenient accomodation - ideal for a holiday walking in the Pennines, or around North Yorkshire and Hadrians wall. Just the place to spend your vacation, where you can enjoy the beautiful local countryside, or get up into the Northumbrian hills. Perhaps you would enjoy some of the roman sites around the area. The local villages, towns and cities from Carlisle to Duram are easily accesible and full of interest.
