Border Cottage is a stone built former miners cottage sleeping 5 with solid fuel open fire, gas central heating and a private walled garden to the front.

Accomodation

Accomodation is on two floors and consists of kitchen with fridge, electric cooker, automatic washing machine and microwave oven. A tumble dryer in another building is shared by the three cottages.

The lounge has beamed ceiling, original black range open fire and colour TV.

Upstairs has a through double bedroom with extra single bed; shower room with electric shower, wash hand basin and toilet, and a further double bedroom with wash hand basin and portable TV. A cot is also available. All bedding (sheets, duvets, blankets etc) are provided, however own towels are required.

Car parking is at the side or in the farmyard.

Just the place to spend your vacation, where you can enjoy the beautiful local countryside, or get up into the Northumbrian hills. Perhaps you would enjoy some of the roman sites around the area. The local villages, towns and cities from Carlisle to Duram are easily accesible and full of interest.
