On a Family Tree on Ancestry.com they have a child Agnes Tuck AMBROSE born 1859 as a child of Rebecca AMBROSE, I am not convinced that this is correct and at the present time have not added it to the above chart. At no time does she appear with Rebecca. The family she is with as a Grandchild on the 1861 does not tie up with our AMBROSE family, ie the wife is down as Elizabeth and there is a son George aged 17 which also does not tie up. He is the only child with the family. The AMBROSE family Agnes was with on the 1861 was John and Elizabeth AMBROSE and he is down as being born in 1801 and our John was born in 1816 and both appear on this Census. She does appear to have the name ADAMS on the 1871 and is with a John ADAMS, aged 22 and we know that our Rebecca on this Census was not with her husband John, on the 1881 she is a servant and not with the family. If it is correct it does throw into doubt if the Rebecca they have shown is indeed the same Rebecca as the one for our family. There is only one Rebecca AMBROSE on the BMD born Chesterton district, Cambridgeshire, this is as shown above, but on the Census it appears that possibly that she was born in 1841.

The idea of these charts is to give the same information that appears in the research we have done and put together in various books. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
