  1. 1861 Census - 7 St Margaret Place, Dover, Kent.  (RG9/546 Folio 9 Page 11).. They had an Ann FAGG as a servant born in 1798 in Hougham, Kent. She was a Laundress

  4. 1871 Census - Woolcomber Lane, St James, Dover, Kent - 
  5. 1871 Census - 102 Hardres Road, Ramsgate, Kent. John the Head and only member of the family at 102 Hardres Road. He was 32 and born in Ramsgate, Kent, which ties up with the information we have and he is down as John R BEANEY. He is also down as married, so his family might have been elsewhere. Have not found on 1861 Census at present.
  6. 1871 Census - "Immortalite", Royal Navy. Found a Josh BEANEY on the 1861 Census in the Royal Navy, now I have found him as Joseph on the 1871 Census, I think this is the correct person for both.
  7. 1861 Census - "Melpomene" Vessels Alexandretta Iskenderun Bay Royal Navy 
  8. 1881 Census - 13 Caroline, Place, Dover, Kent. Sarah was a Widow age 44 a Mangle Woman, born Dover, Kent.
  9. See Note 5, I have found a marriage for a John Ralph BEANEY in December quarter 1867 which I would think was  the correct one, as John is down as married on 1871 Census, on the 1881 Census I cannot find John or any wife. I have at the present put in the two possibilities for his wife. Will alter if I can solve this problem.
  10. 1851 Census - 16 Market Street, Dover, Kent. There is a Thomas of the correct aged born in Ramsgate at this address. He is down as a nephew, to a William SOLLY aged 46 a Taylor born Margate, Kent and his wife Pleasant, aged 41 a Laundress born St Peters, Kent. I cannot find a connection at the present time so this might not be the correct Thomas, I cannot find the above family on the 1851 Census at present.
