  1. 1851 Census - Ramsey, Essex.
  2. 1861 Census - Brite? Vitner? Farm, Ramsey, Essex
  3. 1871 Census - Ramsey Road, Great Oakley, Essex
  4. 1881 Census - Blanes Farm, Great Oakley, Essex
  5. 1881 Census - Chandos House, Fen Road,  Ipswich, Suffolk, Harriet is shown as being 20, but I think it is the correct person.
  6. 1891 Census - 9 Upper Barclay Street, St Margaret, Ipswich. John is down as a nephew and is with a George AINGER, aged44 a Malster, born Great Oakley, Essex and his wife Eliza AINGER, aged 38, born Shoreditch, London.
  7. 1891 Census - Blanes, Ramsey Road, Great Oakley, Essex
  8. 1901 Census - 154 Leyes Road, Canning Town, West Ham, Essex. This gives us quite a family. The head is a Henry DODD, a Mariner at Sea, aged 42 born Wickham, Suffolk, the there is Harriet DODD his wife 37 born Great Oakley, Essex. The Harriet Beneworth on the Chart above, next on the list is Charles BENEWORTH, brother-in-law aged 29 a Ships Joiner, Carpenter, born Great Oakley, Essex, next is John BENEWORTH, aged 25 a Wheelwright, born Great Oakley, Essex, next is Sarah BENEWORTH, Married, aged 57 Mother-in-Law, born Great Oakley, Essex and then Sarah BENEWORTH, sister-in-law, aged 32 a School Teacher born Great Oakley, Essex. So the whole family - minus Samuel. Sarah is down as married not widowed so it appears he was still alive. There was also a boarder a George WHITE, aged 29 a Metal Turner, born Walthamstow, Essex
  9. 1901 Census - Blane Cottage, Ramsey Road, Great Oakley, Essex. So Samuel was at home by himself while all the family were at his eldest daughters house.
  10. 1891 Census - 9 Upper Margaret Street, St Margaret, Ipswich, Suffolk. It appears that John appears twice on the 1891 Census, once at home with his parent and also with his Uncle, George AINGERS in Ipswich. Down as a Wheelwright apprentice on both. I wonder which one he was actually with.
  11. 1891 Census - Garland Street, Ramsey, Essex. Harriet and Henry had a son Charles, aged 7 born Ramsey, Essex.

The idea of these charts is to give the same information that appears in the research we have done and put together in various books. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
