  1. Father - Edward HILLS (bc1809-) Labourer
  2. 1854 Southwood, Ramsgate, Kent
  3. 1881 Chapel Road, St Lawrence, Ramsgate, Kent. Lodging with them was Elizabeth CAIN (Age 64 years) born St Nicholas, Kent living on income derived from property
  4. 1854 Ramsgate, Kent
  5. 1891 Chapel Road, St Lawrence, Ramsgate, Kent
  6. On the 1891 Census the age for Isaac is entered as 63 years, which is correct, but he is shown as being born in St Peter's. The age of his wife Mary is entered as 67 years, which I believe to be incorrect as it makes her born in 1824 not 1834, the age calculated from the 1881 census.
  7. I have a note here about the BMD site only have one male name and this not really matching Annie's details on the 1881 Census. I have today, the 1st July 2005, gone into BMD site again and they have now got it correct and one of the names is John William HAMBROOK. This matches on the 1881 Census, at 156 King Street, Ramsgate, Kent there is a John HAMBROOK aged 21 a General Labourer, born Shoulden? Kent, and his wife Annie HAMBROOK, aged 20 Labourers wife born St Lawrence, Ramsgate, Kent. No children at this stage. Cannot find on 1891 or 1901 Census
  8. 1861 Census - General Shop, Chapel Lane, Ramsgate, Kent
  9. 1871 Census - Chapel Row, St Lawrence, Ramsgate, Kent (Blassland on Ancestry.com)
  10. 1891 Census - 24 Methley Street, Kennington, Lambeth, Surrey. This was just a lucky find. I tried to find John William HAMBROOK on the 1891 without success but found a John HAMBROOK aged 9 born in Ramsgate, at this address down as a Step Grandson. The head of the household was a John BLUCK and I then found a marriage for an Annie HAMBROOK to a John BLUCK. John is living at the address as a son and Annie is with him. As well as the Step Son they have two daughter of their own. I will put on a Chart both for John and Annie and also for the parents of John as they still have children of their own at home.

The idea of these charts is to give the same information that appears in the research we have done and put together in various books. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
