  1. Have now found the BYSOUTH family on the 1901 Census. Ancestry.com has the family as Bpouth, so have spent some time trying to solve this.  They were living at 589 Seven Sisters  Road, Tottenham, Middlesex. Samuel BYSOUTH was 28 a Mason (Stone) Employer, born Clapton, Middlesex, Grace BYSOUTH, wife Grace L BYSOUTH was 31 born Islington, Middlesex. There children were Albert H BYSOUTH, son, age 7 born Tottenham, Middlesex, and Samuel (possibly L but could be S) BYSOUTH, age 5 born Tottenham, Middlesex.
  2. 1891 Census - 81 Plevna Road, Tottenham, Middlesex. Father - John BYSOUTH, aged 46 a Stonemason, born Reed, Hertfordshire, Mother - Sarah aged 45 born Newsells, Hertfordshire. Other siblings, Edith 15 Servant, born Clapton, Middlesex, John 10 born Clapton, Middlesex, Helena 6 born Tottenham, Middlesex, There was a Minnie Lee 12a Visitor born Stockwell, Surrey.
  3. 1881 Census - 4 Ottaway Cottages, Hackney, Middlesex. Father - John BYSOUTH, aged 36 a Stonemason, born Reed, Hertfordshire, Mother - Sarah aged 35 born Berkway, Hertfordshire. Other siblings, Thomas 12 Butchers Boy born Bromley, Kent, Albert 11 born Scholar, born Hackney, Middlesex, Edith 5 Scholar, born Hackney, Middlesex and John 8 months born Hackney, Middlesex.
  4. I think I have the correct marriage on the BMD but both the females were Sarah so at present do not know which is the correct one.
  5. 1871 Census - 1 Difton? Villa, Clifton Road, Hackney, Middlesex. In the same premises was a Edward BYSOUTH and family. Edward was two year older than John. He was a Stonemason, at this stage John was a Stonemason's Labourer. I would think they were brothers, both born in Reed, Hertfordshire. (I now think that Edward was an Uncle of John, James and William). There was also a James BYSOUTH, in the same property down as a Brother and yet another family of BYSOUTH, so possibly yet another Brother, a William BYSOUTH aged 24 and his wife and family. Both James and William were born in Reed, Hertfordshire. Will put a chart on for them all if I can find the parents on a previous Census. Bother James and William were also Stonemason Labourers. As I will need to find this information again the Census information is RG10; Piece: 322; Folio: 42; Page: 25
  6. 1861 Census - Green, Reed, Hertfordshire
  7. 1901 Census - 81 Pleyna Road, Tottenham, Middlesex. There was a Sidney BYSOUTH nephew aged 23 a Stonemason born Reed, Hertfordshire with the family. See BYSOUTH Chart 0403
  8. 1891 Census - 7 Sutton Terrace, St Anne's Road, Tottenham, Middlesex. Thomas is down as Servant, but is in a property with only one other person who is also a Servant.
  9. 1901 Census - 141 St Anne's Road, Tottenham, Middlesex. There were three servants on this Census.

The idea of these charts is to give the same information that appears in the research we have done and put together in various books. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blueto be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
