In 1992 Brenda BOND wrote to me regarding her family which appears elsewhere and in one paragraph said – When I was a child living in Camberwell I knew a family named DACKOMBE who lived in Westmacott Street. my mother had known John and Lillian DACKOMBE and their children Lillian and John from circa 1934 and I used to visit old Mrs Dackombe up until circa 1960. The family later moved from Westmacott Street to Comber Grove. My mother remembers that Mr DACKOMBE only had one arm and drove a horse and cart. I cannot find the family on your charts but they are family names and they must fit in somewhere even though I do not recall being related to them. Well everything fits to what she says with the chart below. I can now tell her that she is a third cousin once removed from Lilian D DACKOMBE the daughter of John and Lilian.
Brenda SHARPLING wrote to me on 25th March 2003, she is the grandaughter of John and Lilian above. She writes: My grandfather died four years before I was born, but my father told me John had lost his left eye and arm at the Battle of the Somme.

The idea of these charts is to give the same information that appears in the research we have done and put together in various books. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
