Information from Colin DRING 25/8/2000 "Edward was clearly a man of some standing in the village for he was a churchwarden and his name appears on two of the bells in the church. The third of the five bells is inscribed (ref VCH Hunts vol ii p246) "Edward Dring and Oliver Hills, Churchwardens. Joseph Eayre, St Neots, fecit1765" and the fifth "Allen Cowper Rector. Edward Dring and Oliver Hills, Churchwardens, 1765".
