In the letters between Elsie COWDELL née POLTON to her sister Maud HUNT née POLTON in Newfoundland in 1948 and 1968, copies of which were given to me in July 1999 show various pieces of information for this family, I believe this is the person they were referring to.
Elsie refers to a Lily Glover, again working out her age from the letters she was born about 1893, she states that she worked at a bank, got married at 60 (circa 1953) when she retired and died at the age of 73 (circa 1966). Again I think this is the only possibility for this person

The idea of these charts is to give the same information that appears in the research we have done and put together in various books. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
