    Henry and Sarah sailed, with his brother Edwin and his wife from Birkenhead as assisted immigrants on the 29th September 1856 and arrived in Geelong on the 27th January 1857, aboard the "Arabian".
  6. 1854-1855 - James and Jane COBB were the first of this family to go to Australia as assisted immigrants. They went on the “Shand” sailing from Plymouth on the 27th October 1854 and arriving at Portland on the 25th January 1855. Their religion was Wesleyan.

  7. Edwin and Elizabeth sailed, with his brother Henry and his wife, from Birkenhead as assisted immigrants on the 29th September 1856 and arrived in Geelong on the 27th January 1857 aboard the "Arabian". After settling in Hotspur, where their seven children were born, Edwin and Elizabeth moved the the Gymbowen area with/near their son James in about 1894.
