  1. 1861 Census - 19 Coal Yard, St Giles, Middlesex
  2. 1871 Census - 10 Prospect Place, Back Road, Stoke Newington, Middlesex, London
  3. 1881 Census - 3 Garden Cottages, Islington, Middlesex
  4. 1881 Census - James A HURST and Harry E HURST were boarders at 10 Temple Street, Strand, Middlesex, England , James was down as 27, born Strand, London and Harry was 23, born Strand, London
  5. 1891 Census - James A HURST was 37 and living at 10 Oakenden Road, Islington, London, he is down as being born in The Strand, London. He is Head of the Household. There was another man and wife at the same address.
  6. 1891 Census - There is a Henry E HURST born Drury Lane, London of the right age. living at 60 Major Road, West Ham, London. I think this is this person. He has six children born between 1881 and 1891 in varying places. Ancestry.com has the birth place as Dury Lang, but certain they mean Drury Lane which would be the correct area. I have found I can save the details that Ancestry.com give into Notepad and then into the Web Page without having to retype all the details. I have been amending this and taking out the England's and putting the surname in Caps. I am not going to continue doing this so it will be as it comes off Ancestry.com. When I do a Chart for the family it will be amended. The details for this family are:
Hurst, Henry E abt 1858 Dury Lang, London, England Head West Ham Essex,
Hurst, Emily Grace abt 1856 Stoke Newington, London, England Wife West Ham Essex ,
Hurst, Grace Emily abt 1883 Old Ford, London, England Daughter West Ham Essex ,
Hurst, Mary Ann abt 1884 Old Ford, London, England Daughter West Ham Essex ,
Hurst, Margaret abt 1886 Bow, London, England Daughter West Ham Essex,
Hurst, Henry E abt 1887 Worthing, Sussex, England Son West Ham Essex,
Hurst, George abt 1889 Worthing, Sussex, England Son West Ham Essex,
Hurst, Dorothy E abt 1890 Stratford, Essex, England Daughter West Ham Essex.
All except Dorothy for the children are down as Scholars.
  7. 1901 Census - 75 Malvern Road, Hackney, London. Details are as follow: there is a Harriet SANDERS down as a boarder which I would think would be related to Caroline, she was an Infants Millener:
James A Hurst abt 1854 Clements Danes, London, England Head Hackney London
Caroline Hurst abt 1856 Hoxton, London, England Wife Hackney London
Hannah M Sanders abt 1859 Hoxton, London, England Boarder Hackney London
  8. 1901 Census - 29 Leyton Road, Forest Gate, West Ham, Essex:
Details for family as follows: again taken from Ancestry.com index. A lot of mistakes in the actual names: The three eldest daughters were employed will put details of these when I put new chart on:
Harry E Hurst abt 1857 Denry Lane, London, England Head West Ham Essex
Emily G Hurst abt 1856 Stoke Newington, London, England Wife West Ham Essex
Grace E Hurst abt 1883 Bow, London, England Daughter West Ham Essex
Marid Hurst abt 1884 Bow, London, England Daughter West Ham Essex
Mary Hurst abt 1886 Bow, London, England Daughter West Ham Essex
Harry E Hurst abt 1887 West Ham, Essex, England Son West Ham Essex
George Hurst abt 1889 West Ham, Essex, England Son West Ham Essex
Daisy E Hurst abt 1891 West Ham, Essex, England Daughter West Ham Essex
James Hurst abt 1893 West Ham, Essex, England Son West Ham Essex
Jane Hurst abt 1896 West Ham, Essex, England Daughter West Ham Essex
John Hurst abt 1898 West Ham, Essex, England Son West Ham Essex
William P Hurst abt 1900 West Ham, Essex, England Son West Ham Essex
  9. 1874 Bethnal Green, Middlesex

The idea of these charts is to give the same information that appears in the research we have done and put together in various books. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
