1861 Census - Cottages, Felsted, Essex. 1891 Census - 46 Charlotte Street, Marylebone, London. 1881 Census - 46 Charlotte Street, Marylebone, London 1901 Census - 46 Charlotte Street, Marylebone, London 1871 Census - ?8 Conduit Street, Westminster, London 1861 Census - Patterton, Scarcliffe, Derbyshire. Mary was 10 and a Scholar, her mother was Ann, aged 40 a widow a Blacksmith and Farmer of 4 acres born Brampton, Derbyshire, other siblings were Eliza A 12 and George 8 both born Patterton, Derbyshire 1851 Census - Patterton, Scarcliffe, Derbyshire. Francis was the father, aged 40 a Blacksmith, his wife Ann is down as Blacksmith's wife, Eliza the eldest daughter is 2 and Mary is five months. There is a Charles WHITWORTH, brother aged 37 a Journeyman Blacksmith, a Francis WHITWORTH, a nephew aged 16 born Worksop, Nottinghamshire an apprentice and a Jane YATES a Servant with the family. Having found Ann on the 1851, 1861 and 1871 we have now established she was born in Patterton, Derbyshire (we had various spellings before) and that she was born in 1850. Will put a chart on to show the WHITWORTH family
