This was taken from the 1881 Index of Surnames and then looked up on the relevant films. It is therefore a complete list of the Dackombe name in 1881. I have since found on the 1881 IGI CD Rom, some more Dackombes, in fact all of the families I was aware of who were alive in 1881. This took a lot of searching as these names were not spelt correctly. So these have now been added. They include Dracombe, Dackhome, Dockombe and Dachombe so you can see why there appeared so few names on this Census when originally searched
