This is the last Will and Testament of me Aquila Dackombe of No9a Sun Street Earl Street Walworth in the County of Surrey Gentlemen first I direct that all my just costs funeral and testamentary expenses may be fully paid and (ratified) as soon as conveniently may be after my decease I give (devise) and bequeath all and every real and Personal Estate and Effects of whatsoever kind and wheresoever situate and whatever in possession ? remains or of expectance ? Mr William Bassor or No 198 Newington Butts in the Parish of Saint Mary Newington in the County of Surrey House Agent and to his heirs executors and administrators upon trust as soon as conveniently may be after my decease to collect of ? in and receive the same as may ? of monies and securities for money and to sell and dispose of all other my Estate and Effects with by public auction or Private Contract as to him or them shall seem meet And when and as the same shall come to his or their hands upon ? as ? First to pay unto my wife Eliza Dackombe (formerly Eliza Stratford and Sister to my first wife the sum of two hundred pounds for her ? sole and separate use and benefit and further upon trust to pay unto my children Mary Ann Elizabeth Simpson Wife of Harry Simpson Caroline Poulton Wife of James Poulton Aquila Dackombe Arabella Susanna Eliza Dackombe Daniel Dackombe Ann Maria Dackombe and Mary Anne Elizabeth Stratford Dackombe the child of my present Wife Eliza Dackombe, formerly Eliza Stratford the sum of five hundred pounds ? in ? following that is to say to ? of my children who may be sons upon their attaining their age of twenty one years and to daughter upon their attaining that age of marriage whichever may first happen and I (make) this disposition so far as towards the first six of my children therein named in attendance with or deed of trust executed by me ? (yours) ? and of which the said William Basson is the surviving trustee the other trustee Thomas Stratford being deceased and which said deed of trust of hereby I confirm and ratify and to such of my children who being ? ? not have attained that age of marriage and direct their share or shares to be invested in any one of the trust or funds of Great Britain as to my said trustee shall seem best and the interest thereof to be applied towards their maintenance and education during their minority except as toward my said child Mary Ann Elizabeth Stratford Dackombe the daughter by my present wife Eliza ? Dackombe formerly Eliza Stratford in which case I direct the interest arising from the investment of her share or shares to be paid to my said wife Eliza Dackombe formerly Eliza Stratford and to be applied by her towards the maintenance support and duration of my said child Mary Ann Elizabeth Stratford Dackombe and in thee event of either of my said children dying under the age of twenty one years or unmarried as aforesaid then I direct the said share to which such deceased child may have been equally be equally divided among the whole of my surviving children including my child Mary Ann Elizabeth Stratford Dackombe share and share alike Thus I direct that it shall be lawful for my executor hereinafter named his heirs executors and administrators out of the monies which shall come to this or their hands ? to reimburse himself or themselves al costs charges damages and expenses which they may sustain or be put to in or about the execution of their aforesaid trust or in relation thereto and I nominate constitute and appoint the said William Bassor of the No 198 Newington Butts in the Parish of Saint Mary Newington in the said County of Surrey aforesaid sole Executor and Trustee and Residuary trustee of this my will and revoking all former and other wills in which may have been by me at any kind theretofore made so declare this to be my last will and testament two witnesses whereof I have hereunto set my hand this thirteenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty seven. This is a Codicil of the last will and testament of Aquilla Dackombe of 9a Sun St East St Walworth in the County of Surrey whereas I have in my will of this date provided for my wife and the ? of my children by leaving them certain sums of money to be realised by the said of my ? and personal estate as in my said will is (maintained) I also declare it to be my wish and will and I therefore devise and give to my mother Mary Ann Dackombe of No 1 Scerge St, Trafalgar St Walworth in the County of Surrey for an annuity of fifty pounds per year ? upon the estate known as the Lower hall Farm situate near Wrexham North Wales and now in the occupation of Mrs Harriet Barsouage and I give and bequeath a further charge of fifty ponds per year upon the said estate above mentioned to be equally divided amongst the whole of my brothers and sisters who may be so living at the time of deceased and immediately after the sale of the said estate as directed by my will I direct my said trustee in my said will mentioned to pay over to my said mother and brothers and sisters a sum equal and equivalent to the said to annuities above mentioned and I make this codicil to ratify and confirm a deed executed by me in the year one thousand eight hundred forty three and by which said deed I created the two annuities herein mentioned and declaring this to be a true codicil to my said last will and testament I have hereunto ? of my hand this thirteenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty seven at the same time as signing my said will therein referred to the mark X of Aquilla Dackombe showed and declared by the said Aquilla Dackombe as and for a codicil to the last will and testament the same having been first read over and explained to him and at thereupon affixed his mark hereto in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have hereto subscribed our names as witnesses William James Parker No 8 Sun St East Street Walworth William Harman Eltham St Walworth Edward Taylor 128 Newington Butts Business Agent Proved at ? with a codicil 13th February 1869 by the (hand) of William Basser the sole executor to whom ? was granted.
