I have a lot of interesting information about the JOLIN family, I will eventually try and add all the information I have. • The following shows the connection from my wife to the JOLIN family

• My wife Jacqueline TERRY's maiden name was POLTON. Her father was Albert Augustus POLTON, born at 40 Raymouth Road, Rotherhithe, Surrey on the 18th March 1897. His wife of Maude Elizabeth THOROGOOD. They married on 15th June 1929 at St Mary, Merton Park, Merton, Surrey. Albert died at Sutton Hospital, Surrey on 8th March 1976.
  The children of Albert and Maude were:
  Sheila Elizabeth married Robert Langdon REXWORTHY
  Jacqueline Irene married John Charles TERRY
  Clifford Alan POLTON married Sylvia Gillian MARLEY

• His father was Aquilla James POULTON/POLTON born 11th April 1868 at 6 Orchard Place, Walworth Surrey. He died around 1944 in Greenford, Middlesex. His wife was Maud Mary GLOVER, born 20th December 1865, they married on 29th May 1892 at St Mary Magdalen, Bermondsey, Surrey.
  The children of Aquilla James and Maud Mary were:-
  James John, born 22nd August 1892, Rotherhithe, Surrey, married Ethel Elsie DONALD
  Maud Winifred, born 3rd August 1893, Rotherhithe, Surrey, married William Henry HUNT
  Sydney Aquilla, born 26th January 1895, Rotherhithe, Surrey, married Violet Campbell
  Albert August, born 18th March 1897, Rotherhithe, Surrey, married Maude Elizabeth THOROGOOD
  Frank Henry, born 2nd July 1899, North Camberwell, died 1900, Rotherhithe, Surrey
  Frederick Hector, born 4th August 1900, Rotherhithe, Surrey, married Dorothea Sarah SEIGMAN
  Elsie May, born 9th May 1903, Rotherhithe, Surrey, married Roydon George COWDELL

• The mother of Aquilla James POULTON/POLTON was named Caroline POULTON/POLTON née DACKOMBE, and the father was James POULTON, born 1842/43 in Eltham, Kent, they married on 25th August 1866 at Camberwell Parish Church.
  The children of James and Caroline were:
  Aquila James, born 11th April 1868, Walworth, Surrey, married Maud Mary GLOVER
  William, born 26th May 1870, Walworth, Surrey

• The father of Caroline was Aquila DACKOMBE, he was born on the 13th March 1822 and baptised on the 13th March 1825. He married a Caroline STRATFORD on the 23rd May 1842 at Trinity Church, St Mary, Newington, Walworth, London. Caroline was born in 1821 and died on 3rd August 1860. Aquila then married her sister Eliza Catherine STRATFORD on 26th May 1862 at St Mary, Stratford
  The children of Aquila and Caroline were:
  Mary Ann Elizabeth, born 4th December 1843, Walworth married Henry SIMPSON
  Caroline, born 23rd February 1845, Walworth, married James POULTON
  Aquila, born 31st January 1848, Walworth, married Ellen Sarah ATCHLEY and Louisa Ann NEWMAN
  Daniel, born 15th August 1851, Walworth, married Julia Ann POW
  Arabella Susanna Eliza, born, 1851, married 1871
  Ann Maria, born 1853, married William FORD
  The children of Aquila and Eliza were:-
