| The Agony Aunt Me and my fiancé (I'm 18 he is nearly 17) have been having sex since the beginning of May. The majority of the time it has been unprotected. But I have not become pregnant (I have used a couple of pregnancy tests and I have been having regular periods) and we are worried that we are infertile. We both would love to have children within the next couple of years, and need to know if we are even able to. How would each of us have a test to see if we are infertile and what would the test entail? Also, I am white and my fiancé is Chinese, what is the likelihood that are children will be Chinese? Thank You
Sadly we feel that this is a hoax problem. Due to the nature of the question we do not feel that it is our place to answer it. What we can say though is that there is nothing to worry about at the moment. From what you say, you've only been trying for a baby over the last few months. The fact that you have not gotten pregnant does not mean that you are infertile. We advise you to have PROTECTED sex from now on. Please contact your local GP for more information. Secondly, you ask what the likely hood that your children will be Chinese. Well, your children will be classified as Eurasian. This is because they will be half Chinese and Half English. If what you meant was what is the likely hood that they will look Chinese, no one can really say. This all comes down to biology and genes. Usually Eurasian children look like a mix of both parents because it depends on whose genes determined that particular attribute (ie, eye colour, nose shape, hair colour). I hope this answers your questions and please remember to use protection!! |
